Tri Athy 2026 Celebrations

TriAthy Race Report and Gallery 2026

TriAthy - 30 May 2026

TriAthy welcomed athletes, supporters, volunteers and clubs to its 18th edition, delivering another memorable day of racing in the riverside town of Athy, Co. Kildare. A mix of sunshine and showers throughout the day added to the challenge, while creating the unique atmosphere that has become synonymous with TriAthy.

One of Ireland’s largest multisport events, a total of 2,573 athletes registered for this year’s event, with 942 athletes competing in the Triathlon National Series Standard (Olympic) Distance race – chasing valuable series points on a busy day of racing.

Some delays to the swim start resulted in a later start than planned for all races, and a shortened 20km bike course for the Triathlon National Series Standard Distance event.
