Our Junior Triathlon Camps are designed for young athletes who want to develop their swim, bike and run skills in a supportive and fun environment.
Who it’s for
Whether your child is a beginner looking to try their first triathlon or a developing athlete looking to improve performance, our Triathlon Camps are a fantastic way for young athletes aged 6–17 to get active, have fun, and build confidence in a safe and supportive environment.
About the Camps
Each camp introduces juniors to the three core disciplines of triathlon, swimming, cycling, and running, through games, skill-building sessions, and age-appropriate training. Whether your child is new to the sport or already loves triathlon, there’s something for everyone!
Coaching Team
Led by experienced and qualified Triathlon coaches, our team provides expert instruction with emphasis on safety, encouragement and skill progression.

LISBURN SUMMER CAMP
Location: Lagan Valley LeisurePlex, Lisburn
Dates: Monday 3rd August to Wednesday 5th August
Times: 10am to 1pm
Ages: 8 to 14 years old
Cost: £40 Summer Programme Fee Please note Junior Triathlon Ireland Membership must be held (Annual membership €15 for 2026)

BALLYMONEY SUMMER CAMP
Location: Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre, Ballymoney
Dates: Monday 10th August to Thursday 13th August
Times: 10am to 12pm
Ages: 8 to 14 years old
Cost: £47 (or £37.50 with family (3 or more children) or multi- camp (3 or more camps with Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council)

How to sign up to Junior Courses and Camps (parents/ guardians guide)
Please see instructions below on how to sign up to Courses and Camps on behalf of Juniors.
Camp Sign-Up Process
If you do not already have a Triathlon Ireland account, you will need to create a parent/guardian account first.
Important: When registering, please make sure you enter your child’s details, not your own, where requested.
Tip: We recommend completing the registration using a tablet, laptop, or desktop computer rather than a mobile phone.
For Non-Triathlon Ireland Members
Step 1 – Create a Parent/Guardian Account
Parents/guardians must first register as a Site User.
There is no charge for this.

Step 2 – Log In
Log in to your account here:
https://old.triathlonireland.com/login.aspx
Step 3 – Add Your Child’s Account
Once logged in:
On the left-hand side menu, select “Juniors”
Click “Add Junior Account”
Fill in all required fields using your child’s details
Select the appropriate membership option (do not select “Site User”)
Complete the payment transaction
Your child will now be a registered Triathlon Ireland member.
Step 4 – Register for the Camp
While still logged into your account:
Select “Events” from the top menu
Click “Calendar” (not “Race Calendar”)
Choose the Easter Camp your child wishes to attend
Ensure you select your child’s profile, not the adult account
Complete the registration form and payment
For Existing Triathlon Ireland Members
If your child is already a member:
Parent/guardian logs in to their Triathlon Ireland account
Select “Events” from the top menu
Click “Course Calendar” (not “Race Calendar”)
Choose the Easter Camp your child wishes to attend
Complete the registration form and payment
Please note:
If your child is not currently a Triathlon Ireland member, they must be registered as a member before they can participate in the camp.

This camp focuses on helping young triathletes learn the basics of triathlon, with an emphasis on cycling and running, alongside Orienteering skills delivered by Orienteering Ireland and Triathlon Ireland coaches in a fun, safe and supportive environment.
