The welfare of all attendees is paramount. Safeguarding and Child Protection protocols pertaining to the European Junior Cup will be in the context of Northern Irish legislation and adhere to the Triathlon Ireland Safeguarding policies and the event Safeguarding Policy. It is recognised that all participating federations will have policies in place to cover safeguarding and duty of care requirements for taking juniors away to events. However, where these differ from the event safeguarding plan protocols, event protocols will take precedence. All attendees will be required to adhere to the guidance and codes of conduct within the safeguarding plan.
