Safeguarding Policies
All of the Triathlon Ireland Safeguarding policies are in place to protect our young and vulnerable members. The rights of the child are paramount and children have the right to be protected. Clubs should adhere to and reference these policies at all times. The versions located on this page will be the most up to date versions and supersede anything downloaded at an earlier date.
Triathlon Irelands policies are based on the guidelines contained in the Sport Ireland Safeguarding Guidance for Children and Young People in Sport document.

Codes of Conduct:
To be signed annually by Coaches/Tri Leaders/Volunteers/Club Childrens Officers, Designated Liaison Person, Photographers, Technical Officials.
- Reference Check Code of Conduct: New in Role (In club 6 months or less)
- Annual Code of Conduct (in club 6 months or more & have completed a Reference check code of conduct)
