Tri-Team Ireland athletes will head to Tarragona this June to compete at the 2026 Europe Triathlon Age-Group Championships, with Ireland once again represented across both the Sprint and Standard Distance Age Group Championships.
The event, taking place on the stunning Mediterranean coast of Spain, will bring together some of Europe’s best Age Group athletes to compete in a high-quality championship environment.
Tarragona, a historic coastal city and former host of the Mediterranean Games, provides an exciting backdrop for what promises to be another fantastic weekend of racing.
Tri-Team Ireland has consistently performed strongly at Europe Triathlon Championship events over the years, with Irish athletes regularly delivering impressive performances, podium finishes and memorable Team Ireland moments on the international stage.
The 2026 team continues that proud tradition, with a mix of experienced international athletes and first-time representatives set to wear the Irish colours in Spain.
On Saturday 13th June 2026, the Europe Triathlon Championships Age Group Sprint Triathlon (Draft Legal) will take place.
