Bidding Open for the National Post Primary School Triathlon Champs

Would your club like to help host the National Post-Primary School Triathlon Championships? We’re seeking expressions of interest for the 2019 race.

BACKGROUND

In 2018, More than 70 of the country’s best teenage triathletes raced at the National Post-Primary School Triathlon Championships in Naas, Co. Kildare. Athletes from around the country competed over four age categories, Minor, Junior Intermediate, and Senior.

Athletes will race across their age groups:

MINOR
Under 14 on 31st December in the year of competition. 200m/6km/2km

JUNIOR
Under 15 on 31st December in the year of competition. 300m/8km/2.5km

INTERMEDIATE
Under 17 on 31st December in the year of competition. 400m/10km/3km

SENIOR
Under 19 on 31st December in the year of competition. 400m/12km/3.5km

GET INVOLVED

To assist us in running the event we are asking clubs to bid to become a host club for the National Post Primary School Triathlon Championships.

Triathlon Ireland will look after the registration, marketing and race activation for the event.
