Triathlon Ireland is pleased to announce the formation of an Age Group Advisory Commission, dedicated to supporting and developing age group triathlon participation across Ireland. We are now seeking expressions of interest from individuals who are passionate about the growth and development of age group triathlon
Purpose of the Commission
The Age Group Advisory Commission will play a pivotal role in advising Triathlon Ireland on matters related to age group athletes. Its key objectives include:
- Identifying challenges and opportunities for age group athlete development.
- Assisting in the creation of a strategic plan to enhance the age group experience.
- Representing the interests of age group triathletes to ensure their voices are heard.
- Developing initiatives to promote inclusivity, accessibility, and participation for
Who We Are Looking For
Triathlon Ireland is seeking applications from individuals who:
- Have experience or a keen interest in age group triathlon, either as an athlete, coach, or community member.
- Can demonstrate a strong understanding of the needs and challenges of age group athletes on the International Age Group program.
- Possess skills in strategy development, collaboration, and communication.
- Are committed to supporting and promoting the growth of triathlon in Ireland.
- Demonstrable skills of working positively as part of a team
The commission will work closely with Triathlon Ireland staff, providing strategic insights to guide the future of age group participation at a national level.
Role Details
This is a voluntary role with an expected time commitment of approximately 2-4 hours per month, including virtual meetings and project work as required.
