Training Update from the Commonwealth Games 2018
Russell White, James Edgar and David Kerr have all arrived safely in Australia ahead of this week’s 2018 Commonwealth Games.
White and Edgar race on Thursday, 5th April at 13.00 local time.
Kerr’s race is on Saturday, 7th April at 09.30 local time.
Let’s take a look at how their training has been going on the Gold Coast, settling in to a new environment and getting used to the heat.
russell white
Russell has been in Australia for a number of weeks, since racing at the ITU Abu Dhabi WTS Sprint Triathlon. Catch up on our preview of Russell White’s season here.
james edgar
This is 19 year old James’ first senior championship race, having just graduated from the junior ranks. The 2016 Sprint Distance National Triathlon Champion appears to be settling well in to training on the Gold Coast.
david kerr
Paratriathlete David Kerr races in the PTWC on Saturday. He has settled in well to training in Australia and kindly sent us in the below training videos.
