Race Report & Gallery: Loughrea Triathlon National Series 2025
The Triathlon National Series visited Loughrea Triathlon for Round 11 on Sunday, 3rd August. Always a huge celebration of multisport, the day started out with the Youth Series, supported by AIG Insurance, also the Youth National Championships. Hughes & Bocquet Win Round 11
Two hotly contested fields saw close racing and fast running off a windy bike course. Longtime Predator Triathlon Club member Mathys Bocquet won his home race for the first time, having previously won junior races at this event. Zoe Hughes had her first national series win, having previously been second at Fastnet Schull Triathlon earlier in the season.
Pearse Gallagher and Laura Daly were second, and Darragh Reynolds and Megan Roberts in third.
