Are you curious about triathlon and looking for a safe, social, and supportive way to get started? This is your chance! As part of the Women in Sport Programme, Triathlon Ireland is excited to offer the New2Tri programme in Portlaoise.
Starting Tuesday, July 8th 2025, this six-week programme is designed for women (over 18) who are new to triathlon with no experience. The New2Tri is the perfect introduction to swimming, cycling, and running in a welcoming and motivating environment.
The programme will consist of 6 coached 2 hour weekly training sessions consisting of 2 back-to-back disciplines.
€70.00 (includes Triathlon Ireland Training Licence)
July 8th, 7pm to 9pm: Run and Bike session, Portlaoise
July 15th, 7pm to 9pm: Run and Swim session, Ballinakill Outdoor Swimming Pool
July 22nd, 7pm to 9pm: Run and Bike session, Portlaoise.
July 29th 7pm to 9pm: Run and Swim session, Ballinakill Outdoor Swimming Pool
August 5th, 7pm to 9pm: Run and Bike session, Portlaoise.
August 12th, 7pm to 9pm: Run and Swim session, Ballinakill Outdoor Swimming Pool
