Thinking about giving triathlon a go? Curious about training, racing, coaching, officiating, volunteering, or simply looking to connect with other women in the sport?

Join us for an informal and inspiring online Q&A with our Women in Sport (WIS) Advocates – an incredible group of women representing clubs and communities across Ireland with experience in racing, coaching, officiating, volunteering and leadership.

This relaxed session is your opportunity to ask questions, hear honest experiences, and discover the many ways to get involved in triathlon.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Ask your own questions in a friendly and supportive environment.
  • Hear real stories of confidence, belonging and personal journeys in triathlon.
  • Learn about the different pathways into the sport – from participant to coach, Technical Official, volunteer or club leader.
  • Discover the supports and opportunities available through Triathlon Ireland’s Women in Sport programme.
  • Connect with a welcoming community of women who are passionate about helping others get involved.

Whether you’re completely new to triathlon, considering joining a club, returning after time away, training for your first event, or already involved and looking to take the next step, this session is for you.

Our Advocates span generations, backgrounds and experiences, but they are united by one shared purpose: to make triathlon more inclusive, welcoming and empowering for women at every stage of their journey.

No question is too small! Whether you want advice on getting started, finding the right club, balancing training with family or work, building confidence, or exploring coaching and leadership opportunities, our Advocates are here to help.

Come along, listen in, ask a question, and become part of the conversation. We look forward to welcoming you!
