Zwift Autumn League – Round 6 Results
It’s flat, it’s fast…how did the Greatest London Flat treat you? The first course that this year’s Autumn League is revisiting, we bet you saw some improvement in those watts since Week 2!
Last night’s race saw some familiar faces on the podiums and a few new riders making waves. There were certainly rewards for those that could hang with a pack for 30.5km and make the most of that final sprint for the line.
See you next week when we head back to the Seaside Sprint for Round 7! We’ll bring the sun screen, you bring the brollies.
As always…it’s never too late to get involved and join the league – we have everything you need to know is in our Zwift Quick Start Guide.
Results
The full results from Race 6 are on the event’s ZwiftPower page.
ZwiftPower also has the overall detailed individual and club leaderboards for all cats from A to D.
The Zwift Autumn League is open to riders across the world – this is one of the exciting and unique aspects of Zwift racing! On this page, we filter out the non-Triathlon Ireland members and clubs/teams to give an overview of the community competition in the Zwift Autumn League.
Why Am I Not There?
If you are unsure of how ZwiftPower applies its scoring system, scroll down to the bottom of the page, which is also where you’ll need to go if you were one of the 40 riders who were ‘filtered’ from last night’s event. This is a pretty high number of filtered riders – the majority were for HR, the absence of Heart Rate data – this can be fixed people! Connect your HR next week cause we want you in the results sheet!

Analysis
The battle between Emma Hingston and Heather Foley continued this week, with Foley crossing the line almost two minutes ahead of Hingston. The overall points difference means that Emma retains her lead in the league, but it will be all to play for in the coming weeks. This week there’s no change at the top of the men’s individual league table, will all three leaders picking up points to hold their positions.
The team rankings remain largely unchanged, with teams inside the top ten picking up points to retain their spots.

Analysis
This week’s B league sees little movement in the top individual placings.
In the team table, Pulse and Piranha have switched places once again, with Pulse picking up over 100 points this week to secure fourth. The top three teams remain the same.

Analysis
The ever competitive C league sees two new names in second and third of the individual men’s league this week. A win yesterday sees Cork Tri’s Colin Feeley move into second, while Conor MacGuinness moves into third. Niall McMonagle is now 56 points in the lead with 3 rounds to go. In the women’s individual rankings, the overall standings remain the same but another strong result from Pulse TC’s Medbh Peavoy last night sees her solidify her lead with a 76 point lead ahead of TI Beyond the Finish Line Advocate Diane Cordner from Lisburn TC in second.

Analysis
Priscilla Crombie and Kim Campbell finished 8th and 21st in London to retain their positions at the top of the Women’s Individual League standings. Both have now passed the 200 point mark and sit 50 points ahead of third placed Mary Coyne.
In the men’s table, James Gallagher from Lanesboro moves into the lead with a second place finish last night, Alan Mitchell holds second without taking part in round 6. Pulse Tri Club’s Niall Byrne is still in contention in third – the margins in this table are tight with three rounds to go.
The three top clubs remain the same with lots of shuffling for the smaller placings.
ZwiftPower’s Scoring System
Zwift racing differs from what we’ve all come to expect from in-real-life triathlon racing.
Clubs
While the league is open to everybody, the club rankings in this race report only take Triathlon Ireland clubs in to account. If you are one of the many riders who had their club listed as ‘Triathlon Ireland’ you won’t be included in the club rankings.
However it’s simple to set your up a profile for your local triathlon club on ZwiftPower and use it for your future races.
In fact, this is something we’d urge you to do.
Gender
ZwiftPower applies points to riders according to their position in the race – regardless of gender. This isn’t an ideal points solution and is something we’d like to see changed (so that women have a completely separate points allocation). However, we are working within the confines of ZwiftPower, which while imperfect is an incredibly powerful platform in other respects so bear with us.
Filtered Riders
A relatively large number of riders were ‘filtered’ or excluded from the results sheet for various infringements. The two most common were HR (having no heart rate data) and ZP (not having a verified power meter.
While Zwift racing is primarily about having fun, we have a responsibility to ensure that any race that carries our name is also fair so unfortunately if you were excluded or ‘filtered’ it is for a legitimate reason. Filtering is an automatic, data based decision by ZwiftPower designed to ensure an above board race.
