The Board of Triathlon Ireland is responsible for providing strategic leadership and ensuring the organisation is governed to the highest standards. Its key functions include setting the strategic direction of the organisation, approving major decisions such as the annual budget and operational plan, and monitoring the performance and effectiveness of the CEO and Senior Management Team. The Board coordinates committee work, supports and advises the Executive, and ensures strong internal controls and sound corporate governance practices are in place to safeguard the organisation and advance its long-term goals.
