‘Tri-More’ Junior Triathlon Webinar

Triathlon Ireland launch new webinar for junior triathletes. There’s more to triathlon than swim, bike, run – and we want to show our junior triathletes what that means!

Tri-More is a junior triathlon webinar taking place on Saturday the 27th of March from 12pm until 1:30pm. This interactive and fun junior event is open to junior members aged 13 to 17, their parents/guardians and junior coaches.

What’s on?

The webinar will give an update on what’s to come this year for our junior members, and what we’ve got planned for future years!

Hosted by Nikki Bradley, Tri-More is being run by the Triathlon Ireland Development Team, and they have an exciting line up in store. Munster Development Officer Eleanor Condon will present on exciting new junior initiatives for 2021; Regional Training Hubs, the Youth Series and the Junior Commission.

Triathlon Ireland Anti-doping Officer Michael Collins is going to teach attendees the basics of Anti-Doping, an important topic for every triathlete.

Director of Performance Stephen Delaney will chat about what the journey from starting out in junior triathlon to competing at international level looks like. Stephen is also going to give an insight about what his job is like each day, working with Ireland’s top triathletes.

Meet the Athletes!

International triathletes Erin Mc Connell and Sabian Kulczynski started out in triathlon at a young age and with numerous national championship titles between them, they now represent Ireland on the world stage. Triathlon Ireland Development Officer (and four time National Marathon Champion!) Gary Crossan is going to be chatting to them, and our junior members will get the chance to ask their questions too.

How to Register

This is a free event but registration is required in advance. Junior Members must ask their parents/guardians to register them through the adult’s triathlonireland.com account. Under 18’s cannot register themselves. Registration is open here.
