Run – Bike – Run. It’s how we start the year. Don the base layer, grab your gloves, head down, grip the bars and battle the conditions. This is tough. This is Duathlon.
The 2024 Duathlon National Series starts in January and over the course of four months it will take in some of the best Run-Bike-Run events that Ireland has to offer.
11 Rounds, starting in winter at the Galco Naas Duathlon and finishing in spring with the Duathlon National Championships in Dublin’s Phoenix Park.

Scoring is based on an athlete’s best two series results + their National Duathlon Championships result.
The winners of the National Championships receive 1,000 points, the winners of any of the other Series races score 700 points.
Points reduce by 7.5% for the first 20 finishers and by 4% thereafter. Males and females are ranked separately with overall and Age Group rankings displayed.
Note: In order to receive Duathlon National Series points you must hold FULL Triathlon Ireland Membership when competing in the event.
