Club Training – Updated COVID Measures
Following the latest health protection measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Triathlon Ireland has updated its advice to clubs so they can modify training sessions accordingly.
Currently, all club sessions in the Republic of Ireland can continue under the following restrictions:

Multiple pods of 15 can meet outdoors for sporting activity once sufficient space is available and strict public health protocols are in place.

Multiple pods of six can train indoors together if sufficient space is available and strict public health protocols are in place.

Coaches & Instructors should be included in the pod sizes.

Swimming and indoor water based activities can take place in pod’s/lanes of six once sufficient space is available and strict public health protocols are in place

Strict adherence to two metre physical distancing before and after events and during breaks in training.

Strict avoidance of gatherings, including social gatherings, before or after events
Northern Ireland
Triathlon Ireland is awaiting clarification from Sport Northern Ireland on the latest measures for clubs in the North and will release an update on this as soon as possible.
