Results & Gallery: Wyer & Mongey Win Westport Triathlon 2026
Westport Triathlon Olympic Distance Triathlon in Co. Mayo, provided a spectacular setting for Round 13 of the 2026 Triathlon Ireland National Series hosted by Westport Triathlon Club.
- 1500m Swim in Clew Bay
- 40km Cycle of Croagh Patrick
- 10km Greenway Run
With Croagh Patrick providing an impressive backdrop to the swim start in Clew Bay, the bike course was an out-and-back to Croagh Patrick with stunning views across the bay. The final leg was a flat, scenic run following the Westport Greenway.
Female Podium
Aisling Wyer of Naas Triathlon Club took the women’s title in 2:04:57, ahead of Niamh Coffey and Maura Barry.

In the open race, Donal Mongey of Naas Triathlon Club claimed victory in 1:53:44. Eddy O’Byrne finished second, with Conor Farrell taking third place on the podium.
