Triathlon Ireland is now accepting applications from athletes who wish to represent Ireland at the 2025 T100 Triathlon Age-Group World Championships, taking place in Qatar.

Eligibility Criteria
- Open to all athletes who meet the published Eligibility Criteria and Selection Criteria
- Applicants must hold a current Triathlon Ireland membership at the time of application.
t100 overview
The T100 Triathlon World Tour is a season-long schedule of World Championship level races competed over 100km (2km swim, 80km bike and 18km run), where the world’s best triathletes go head-to-head in iconic locations on a global broadcast showing the races live around the world in 195+ territories.
Qatar will host the T100 Triathlon World Championship Final for the next 5 years, with the world champion being crowned their at the end of ‘Race To Qatar’ series. Alongside this, the inaugural T100 Age-Group world championship will take place in 2025, allowing the world’s best amateur racers to compete on the world stage in a bid for a title.
Key Rules
- The 2025 T100 Triathlon Age-Group World Championships Qatar will be conducted as per the rules applied in any World
Championships. - Athletes are required to wear the official Triathlon Ireland National Uniform to compete in the Championships.
Qualification routes
Athletes will be able to qualify for the T100 Age-Group World Championships via two routes:
- T100 Events: Athlete’s who finish in the Top 10 of their Age-Group and gender at a T100 Event will earn a berth for the Age Group World Championships.
- Federations: In addition to these Top 10 Finishers, National Federations have 20 quota spots per age-group, per gender to enter for Qatar.

- Log in to your Triathlon Ireland account at www.triathlonireland.com
- Navigate to My Account > Age Group Selection Application
- Select the T100 Qatar race you wish to apply for
- Upload supporting documentation, including:
- Proof of Eligibility
- Race results that meet the selection criteria
- Proof of Eligibility
Fees & Supporting Documents
- A non-refundable Age Group administration fee is payable online when submitting your application (in line with Triathlon Ireland’s refund policy).
- All supporting documentation must be submitted by the application deadline of 1st October at 5:00 PM.
- Documents can be uploaded during the application or later via your account by selecting Upload Document.
