Triathlon Ireland fully recognises the need and its responsibility to remain vigilant at all times to the threat of performance enhancing drugs in sport. It adheres to and implements an anti doping policy in line with Sport Ireland, World Triathlon and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) regulations and guidelines.

The 2026 List of Prohibited Substances and Methods was approved by WADA’s Executive Committee (ExCo) during its meeting on 11th September 2025 and enters into force on 1st January 2026.
