Boost Training Hubs

Boost Training Hubs are group training sessions run on a monthly basis.  They give young athletes the chance to train together in a safe and fun environment.

Hubs are delivered by fully qualified Triathlon Ireland Coaches with the support of Triathlon Ireland Development Officers

They are open to all levels and have two tiers

  1. New to triathlon and participation
  2. Development

Hubs are for you if:

  1. There is currently no local junior club in your area
  2. You have done a schools programme and want to do more
  3. You are a club member and want to further develop your skills and train with others
  4. You are thinking about races and want to train to improve

Sessions are for ages 10-13 and 14-17
Sessions are aimed at both club and non club athletes but you must be a member of Triathlon Ireland to attend.

What You Need

  • Triathlon Ireland Membership
  • You will need to be able to ride a bike and have your own bike which is in good working order and helmet. (If your child does not have a bike or helmet but wishes to attend please let us know.)
  • You will need running shoes.
  • You will need to be able to swim comfortably out of your depth – this won’t be a requirement for every session and we will detail in the registration if there will be a swim session.

Unfortunately our coaches will not be able to give swim lessons for beginners at these sessions.
