Run and Ride for Pieta Week 3
It’s Week 3 of Run and Ride for Pieta supported by BMW and the country’s largest sporting event is stepping up on distance!
Check out the Starter and the Expert Challenges below and remember that you’ve got all week to get them done so a bit of planning now will lead to a warm glow of achievement on Sunday evening!
Week 2 Results
More than 550 people signed on for week 2 and results are still coming in. We have a round up of some of the top athletes below but if you did the challenge and haven’t uploaded your result – no sweat – we are keeping the portal open to allow everyone record their times.
And for those of you who’ve had trouble – there are some simple tips that might help you identify what’s going on.
Fundraising
Finally – don’t forget why we are all doing this – to raise funds for Triathlon Ireland and BMW Ireland’s official charity partner – Pieta House. Pieta carry out vital work in suicide prevention up and down the country. So far, Run and Riders have raised more than €2,500!
If you haven’t signed on to fundraise, or given a donation –
– it only takes a minute and could help save a life.
RECORDING YOUR RESULTS
Have you had trouble uploading results?
If so, the problem is likely to be one of the following:
• Week 2 challenge wasn’t selected at initial registration. Each of the weekly challenges is treated as a separate event – this means you need to select each one individually when registering. If you didn’t do this, it’s easy to just log in to your existing profile and hit the ENTER button again – then select week 2 or week 3 etc.
You can do this even if you’ve already completed the running and biking activities.
• If you did enter the Week 2 challenge but are unsure of how to attach your result, see the Adding a Result
page on our race site.
• Finally if you still have problems after trying the above steps, just drop us an email
– we are here to help!
