Want to take on a new challenge in 2020? Join Tri Team Ireland and race in Europe and around the World against others in your age group.
Being a part of the International Age Group Team is great fun and a great adventure. This year over 150 athletes took the challenge and raced the best in their age group in places like the ITU World Championships in Lausanne and the ETU European Championships in Weert. You don’t need to be a triathlete to race, there is a large community of athletes racing in Duathlon, Aquathlon, Cross-triathlon, Aquabike and Cross-duathlon across varying distances. Age Group Selection
In order to be selected, an application must be made to Triathlon Ireland. There are a specified number of places in each age group for each race, which can be viewed here. If all of the places are not taken up in an age group, the places will roll down to the next applicant in that age group.
