National Post Primary School Championships
Triathlon Ireland is delighted to announce the inaugural National Post Primary School Championships, which will take place on May 21st in Omagh, Co Tyrone.
Entries are now available by completing THIS ENTRY FORM (participants must register in advance)
Cost per participant is €10/£10 GBP which can be paid on the day of the event (no pre-payment)
Schools Triathlon Competition
Post Primary Schools from around the country will compete across four age categories (listed below).
This is a competitive event including individual and team races which will be chip timed with awards for top finishers and teams in each category.
Race HQ will be at the Omagh Leisure Centre, with the swim taking place indoors in the centre’s pool. The bike course will be split over two locations with Minor and Junior age groups cycling within the grounds of the Leisure Centre on a tarmac path and the Intermediate and Senior athletes cycling on the open roads around Omagh.
Schools can enter athletes from each category.
Entries will be on a first come basis until our maximum numbers are reached.
A reserve list will be created and athletes will be included if places become available.

MinorUnder 14 on 31st December in the year of competition 200m/6km/2km

Entries
This is the first year for Triathlon Ireland to host this event and we hope to learn and build on the success of the 2017 event to offer more opportunities for schools to compete in Triathlon for many years to come.
