Safeguarding: New Reporting Protocol
Any safeguarding, poor practice, racism or discrimination concerns can now be reported through an online form.
Safeguarding our young and vulnerable members is a priority for Triathlon Ireland. We have introduced this system as we want to promote and support a positive, child centred culture in our sport. We want to support our clubs to be a safe and fun place for juniors and vulnerable members. We want our junior members to be consulted and involved in their club and we want to support our coaches to create great environments for children which protect both the child and the coach. This new reporting protocol will allow us to track trends in our clubs and put support and resources in place as required.
See FAQ document here with information about what and how to report and the ‘report a concern’ page on the TI website here.

New Codes of Conduct
Triathlon Ireland Codes of Conduct have been updated.
What are Codes of conduct? Codes of conduct give guidance on expected behaviours of all members to make our sport a fun, safe, welcoming and supportive environment.
Why have we made changes? The new documents are more specific for each cohort involved in our sport and aim to support a positive environment at our clubs and events. These codes of conduct have been created with all members of our community in mind and are centred on creating a culture in our sport that supports the development of children and young people and creates a safe environment for vulnerable members.
Who do Codes of Conduct apply to? Codes of Conduct apply to everyone in our sport including all members, adult and junior, officials, coaches, photographers, contractors and safeguarding personnel.
