TRIATHLON IRELAND & SPORTING PRIDE LAUNCH ‘TRY A TRIATHLON’ PROGRAMME

Triathlon Ireland, in conjunction with Sporting Pride, is delighted to launch Tri with Pride, the ‘new to triathlon’ programme aimed at getting more of the LGBTQ+ community involved in the sport.

TRI WITH PRIDE PROGRAMME

Starting on Monday the 18th of April, the eight-week Tri with Pride programme will bring participants from complete beginner all the way to fully fledged triathlete! Participants will learn the basics of triathlon, which is a combination of swimming, running and cycling. Triathlon is very doable and, most of all, great fun!

While the programme is being run both virtually and in person, a team of experienced professionals are on hand to provide support and guidance the entire way. At the end of the programme, there will be a ‘try a triathlon’ event. There will be two ‘in person’ training sessions during the eight weeks.
