Junior Bike Skills: Draft Legal Workshop
A skills session for juniors interested in taking part in draft legal races.

With three races this year that will have draft legal racing for ages 12 and upwards, we are delivering a workshop for juniors to get a taste of draft legal racing in a safe environment. The session will cover bike handling skills (for those not on a road bike) and draft legal specific skills (for those on road bikes).
This session is aimed at juniors aged 12-17 who would like to improve their bike handling skills with a view to racing draft legal triathlon in the future. The groups will be organised by age, ability and bike type.
If you don’t have a road bike but would like to take part there will be a cycle skills session. Please also note that ONLY ROAD BIKES will be permitted to do the draft legal skills section. All other bikes will be able to do the bike handling skills.
The session will take place around Pallas Go Carting track in Galway so is a perfect place to practice bike skills in a safe environment.
THE DETAILS
The session will be led by TI Development Officers Denise Murphy and Gary Crossan.
The session is on the 24th July from 6-8pm and will cost 5 Euro.
You must be a Triathlon Ireland member to take part.
