Triathlon Ireland has opened a recruitment process for two new highly talented and motivated people to join our team.

National Pathway coach and programme coordinator (youth)
A drive and passion for coaching and developing people.
Experience of leading and coaching triathlon programmes, with a particular focus in triathlon clubs or regional triathlon programmes.
Experience of leading and coaching programmes in the single disciplines of swimming, biking, running and conditioning, whilst supporting people to achieve their potential.
An understanding of the principles of athlete development in a performance context.
Experience of working in a team to deliver mutually agreed goals.
An understanding of the principles of athlete performance planning and the management of load for young athletes, particularly whilst balancing the demands of school, triathlon and other competing demands at this age and stage.
An understanding of ethical and safeguarding issues in sport including anti-doping, child protection and mental health & wellbeing.
Project executive
- Ensure excellent customer service is provided through Triathlon Ireland’s call desk, email support function and social media channel, with a specific focus on events based customer queries.
- Member of the project team for TI virtual racing programme.
- Represent the Events Team on cross functional project teams as required.
- Manage the annual club affiliation renewals and ensure accurate processing of club affiliation requests.
- Monitor and report on calls and email volumes through Zoho, as well as other types of queries, and identify and escalate issues to the relevant team.
- Identify where self-service online content and website improvements can reduce inbound calls and emails, and assist in their creation through both Zoho and the TI website development team.
- Lead on sales calls and membership conversion projects.
- Present a positive image of Triathlon Ireland (to its committees, volunteers and staff) and the sport of triathlon at all times.
- Administration and attendance at Triathlon Ireland courses & events, maintaining the standards and representing Triathlon Ireland.
- Familiarisation with the Triathlon Ireland results systems to prepare for competitions and produce and amend results post event.
- Perform any other relevant duties as and when required by Triathlon Ireland.
