Youth Aquathlon at the National Triathlon Centre
2025 Indoor Youth Aquathlon at our national training centre in Limerick This June!
Join us and Predator Triathlon Club for the 2025 Indoor Youth Aquathlon, which takes place on Saturday, June 15th at our National Triathlon Centre at the University of Limerick— and it’s shaping up to be a fun-filled morning for young athletes of all abilities aged 9 to 17.
This exciting indoor event is designed to introduce kids and teens to the world of multisport in a safe, controlled, and inclusive environment. Whether your child is a first-timer or an experienced swimmer, triathlon club member, there’s a place for everyone on the start line.
What’s an Aquathlon?
An aquathlon is a swim-run event. For this race, participants will swim in the UL Arena’s indoor pool before transitioning to a closed and fully marshalled run course around the campus grounds.
Safe, Fun, and Fully Supported
Safety is a top priority. With lifeguards on duty, medical staff from Limerick Red Cross, and experienced marshals on site, parents can feel confident their young athletes are well cared for. There’s even a designated safeguarding officer present to support a child-focused event environment.
All Finishers Receive a Medal!
While this isn’t a competitive event with podium prizes, every participant will receive a medal — celebrating effort, participation, and a great day out.
