2020 Major Events Calendar
TRIATHLON IRELAND MAJOR EVENTS 2020
Following a competitive bidding process from races across the country, Triathlon Ireland is delighted to announce the major events calendar for the 2020 multisport season.
The races chosen to host the BMW Triathlon National Series, the BMW Duathlon National Series and National Championships across all distances and disciplines are listed below.
More than 200 individual events will make up the full Triathlon Ireland race calendar in 2020 – all of which will be published on the race calendar section shortly.
2020 BMW DUATHLON NATIONAL SERIES
Ireland’s largest duathlon series, taking in seven duathlons staged over a three month period including the National Championships at the Phoenix Park Duathlon.
Athletes are scored off their best three races which must include the National Championships.

2020 BMW TRIATHLON NATIONAL SERIES
Ireland’s largest endurance sport league involving 18 races in some of the island’s most scenic locations.
Athletes are scored off their best four races which must include at least one sprint and one standard distance event.
