2018 Reviewed: BMW Triathlon National Series Age Group Winners
This summer, over 2,500 athletes raced in at least one round of the BMW Triathlon National Series, signifying the growing popularity of our sport. Each race saw all levels of athlete enjoy triathlon, from the beginner to the experienced age group athlete. Races are located in some of the most scenic areas of Ireland, from the Centra Fastnet Schull Triathlon in West Cork, to Lough Neagh Triathlon in Ballyronan and from Westport Triathlon to the Base2Race Harbourman Triathlon in Wicklow to name but a few.
Triathletes travelled the length and breadth of the country, picking up valuable points in their age group at each race. An athlete’s 4 best scoring races in a season, of which one must be sprint distance and one must be standard distance, determine the triathletes ranking in his or her age group.
