Junior Beast of the East Triathlon Takes Place this Weekend
Entries still open
Entries are still open for this popular junior event. The Junior Beast of the East will take place this year on Sunday, 24 September and is a fully sanctioned Triathlon Ireland event organised by Wicklow Triathlon Club Juniors. There is a spectacular sea swim in the shelter of Ireland’s east coast at “The Cove”, Greystones. Not only is this a super place to swim, it is also a natural amphitheatre allowing supporters to follow the athletes all the way through the swim.
The bike course is on a 1km ‘criterium’ style lap of the scenic town of Greystones with the run along the picturesque promenade on Greystones’ Marine Road looking down on the Irish Sea below.
