Join the Women in Sport New2Tri Programme @ Sports Campus, Dublin!
Are you curious about triathlon and looking for a safe, social, and supportive way to get started? This is your chance! As part of the Women in Sport Programme, Triathlon Ireland is excited to offer the New2Tri programme at the state-of-the-art National Aquatic Centre, Sport Ireland Campus, Dublin.


Starting April 18th, 2025, this six-week programme is designed for women who are new to triathlon with no experience. The New2Tri is the perfect introduction to swimming, cycling, and running in a welcoming and motivating environment.

What’s involved?
The programme will consist of a coached 2 hour weekly training session consisting of a back2back swim and bike/run session – the swim session will be every week for 45 minutes, with the bike/run alternating each week for six weeks for 45 minutes.


What equipment do I need?
Swimsuit, hat, goggles.
Safe, roadworthy bike (mountain bike or hybrid is fine) and a roadworthy helmet. If you have no access to a bike, please reach out and we will endeavour to provide you with one.
Comfortable running clothes and runners.


What is the cost?
There is no charge for this programme, just your commitment to the six weeks.

Friday, May 23rd 10am to 12pm
Friday, May 30th 10am to 12pm
Note that there is no session on Friday, May 16th
