Race Sanctioning 2026

Race sanctioning for the 2026 season now open

Triathlon Ireland is pleased to announce that the race sanctioning process for the 2026 season is now live. Event organisers can now submit their races for approval and ensure they meet Triathlon Ireland’s standards for safety, quality, and athlete experience.

How to sanction an event

All events must be officially sanctioned with Triathlon Ireland. This ensures our events team is notified of your upcoming race and can provide the necessary oversight and support.

By using the Triathlon Ireland Race Entry System, organisers can manage every aspect of their event from one streamlined platform — from registration to transfers, payments, reporting, and more.

To support you through the process, we’ve prepared a step-by-step guide.

Triathlon Ireland Race Entry System

Triathlon Ireland has developed a convenient and cost-effective race entry system designed specifically for race organisers. With a low 7% admin fee, the system offers a complete event-management solution in a single location.

Key benefits include:

  • Athlete Transfers – easy and efficient

  • Monthly Payouts – transparent and predictable

  • Merchandise Sales – integrated into the entry process

  • Centralised Management – all event data, communication, and administration in one place

2026 Race Sanctioning Fees

Sanctioning fees for the 2026 season are now available. These fees cover essential elements such as insurance, event support, and inclusion in the official Triathlon Ireland Race Calendar.
