Phoenix Park Duathlon: Race Report & Gallery

The final race of the 2025 Duathlon National Series took place in the heart of Dublin on Sunday, 27th April as Belpark Triathlon Club hosted the always-popular Phoenix Park Duathlon.

With a course that featured a 5km run, a 21.3km cycle, and a final 2.5km run, athletes were treated to a fast and scenic route through the iconic park. While the terrain was mostly flat, some climbs on the bike course and gusty winds added an extra challenge.

The racing was fierce from start to finish, with impressive performances across the board. It was Enda Bagnall of @edentriclub who stormed to victory with a time of 00:59:31, closely followed by Christopher Horgan of @mallowtriclub (1:00:15) and Liam Dunne (1:01:23) rounding out the podium.

On the women’s side, Carmel Moran of @pulsetriclub claimed the top spot with a time of 1:12:31, holding off strong competition from Geraldine Leete (1:15:29) and Mollie Jackson (1:15:33), who finished just seconds apart.

This event marked the conclusion of the 2025 Duathlon National Series, and what a way to wrap it up! A huge thank you to Belpark Tri Club for a well-organized and welcoming event, and to all the volunteers who helped make the day run smoothly. For all race results click here.
