Youth Series at Pulse

Aquathlon in the Sunny SouthEast

Pulse Junior Aquathlon was held in the beautiful Cahore, Co. Wexford for the first time in 2021. A spectacular view point where you can see the entire race by one standing point.

The Youth Series athletes took to the water with a sandy beach start from 9am. The calm waters of Cahore saw some fantastic swimmers grace the sea throughout the morning with all athletes entering the swim from the beach and exiting across the water on the pier.

The race finish was at the top of a hill, overlooking the swim course. A steep run up to transition before heading out onto the scenic run, athletes finished could cheer on their club mates after the race. There was a super turn out of local and afar clubs for the Saturday morning Aquathlon and a really great sense of community and support from Pulse Triathlon club members and volunteers.
