Introducing the Waterways Ireland Crom Aquathlon The newest aquathlon addition to the TI Race Calendar is the Waterways Ireland Crom Aquathlon. In partnership with Waterways Ireland, Triathlon Ireland will run the event on the picturesque Crom Estate in Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh. The race promises the chance to race in a uniquely rural setting. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Action Cancer Care.The sprint distance race on Sunday, 10 June will be run over a course consisting of a 750 metre lake swim and a five kilometre run through the scenic grounds of this historic estate. Due to the flat run course and lake swim, this event would be ideal for those new to multisport and those looking for a PB over this distance. Aquathlon can be a great introduction to those looking to progress to taking part in a triathlon and is and also ideal sport for those who enjoy the challenge of multisport but perhaps don't have access to a bike.The Crom Aquathlon promises to be a family-friendly and fun event.
