Paratriathlon Relay

The Loughrea Triathlon Paratriathlon Team Relay is a unique event in which teams made up of company employees and paratriathletes race against other similarly constituted teams. 

Each team member competes one leg of the relay triathlon before handing over to the next team mate. One of the three athletes must be a para-athlete.

About Loughrea Predator Triathlon.

Loughrea Predator triathlon is a sprint distance event which takes in a 750m swim in a blue flag, clear water lake (where for 90% of the swim route it is possible to stand), a  scenic 20km cycle and a  5km run on closed roads which are perfect for setting a PB.


  • €90 per team 

  • One member of each team must hold a valid Triathlon Ireland Race Memberships or a One Day Membership. 


  • Commemorative medal for all team members
  • Chipped timed event with phone results and names on online programme 
  • Goodie bag with designer t-shirt and other goodies and money off offers for each team member
  • Post Race Meal for all team members after the race 
  • Finish line food and water and complimentary GLENSIK product
  • Chance to compete for the top corporate prize to the value €120 
  • Prizes for best team name and most original outfit
  • Knowledge that all entry funds go back  to the voluntary Predator Tri club to fund both the running of senior and especially  junior clubs and junior triathlon squad

NOTE: One Day Memberships are necessary for non-TI members and cannot be purchased on the day



  • Even though you may have the body of a God the rules require a wet suit for the swim

  • Any form of a bike that includes a high nelly but must be road worthy and have working brakes, also a bike helmet required. Will be checked on the day

  • Preferably runners with no holes
  • Ability to laugh at oneself and have fun and BEAT THE OTHER TEAMS
