Growth

  • Race size ranges from 150 participants to 5,000 participants.

Triathlon Ireland Successes and Future Aspirations

  • Qualified our first Olympian, Emma Davis, for the Beijing Olympic games in 2008
  • Irish athlete Bryan Keane won three European medals in 2009
  • In 2010, Ireland hosted the European Championships in Athlone.
  • In 2010, Aileen Morrison was the first Irish athlete to ever podium in an ITU World Championship event.
  • In 2009 the European Championships test event in Athlone was won by Irish athlete Bryan Keane.
  • Our goal is to qualify two athletes for London Olympic Games 2012
