Triathlon Ireland has sole rights to determine which races are considered National Series and/or National Championship and/or Club Championships races. By selecting 'yes' to either option above, you have applied to be included, but this does not guarantee that your race can be designated as a National Series or National Championships or Club Championships race.

Triathlon Ireland Terms & Conditions for Race Organisers (2011 race year)

I, the Race Organiser, acting on behalf of the person, association, group, committee, club, or corporate body that is organising the race, agree to the following Terms & Conditions:-

I agree that the race is covered under Triathlon Ireland insurance, provided that every competitor in the race is a Full, Student or Junior member of Triathlon Ireland, or has purchased a One Day Licence, and also provided that all race sanctioning fees are paid in advance of the race. 

I agree that, if I have applied for this race as a Club Affiliated race and not a Non-Club/Other race, then the race is organised by an affiliated club of Triathlon Ireland for the benefit of a triathlon club and the development and promotion of triathlon, duathlon and aquathlon.

I agree to submit payment of the race sanctioning fee, as set out in the Race Organisation area of the Triathlon Ireland website, to Triathlon Ireland within 30 days of receipt of invoice from Triathlon Ireland or prior to the race, whichever occurs first.

All One Day Licences for a triathlon must be purchased through Triathlon Ireland’s online system and that no One Day Licences shall be purchased through the race online entry system, through the Race Organiser, or at race registration.

I agree to submit payment of the extra competitor fee, as set out in the Race Organisation area of the Triathlon Ireland website, to Triathlon Ireland within 30 days of receipt of invoice from Triathlon Ireland.  This invoice will be sent after the race.

I agree that a Race Plan will be submitted to Triathlon Ireland 3 months prior to race, which will then be forwarded onto the Technical Delegate by Triathlon Ireland.

I agree to forward all Competitor and Marshall Sign-on-Sheets to Triathlon Ireland within 1 week after the race.

I agree that I must complete the Triathlon Ireland Race Organiser training course 3 months prior to the race.

I agree to work with the Triathlon Ireland appointed Referee and Technical Delegate.

I agree that I must be a member of Triathlon Ireland.  This can be either a Full, Student or Associate membership. Junior members cannot organiser races.

I agree that if I am running a children’s race, there will be a Children’s Officer on the main race committee.
