It was Triathlon weekend in Ballyvaughan as the town hosted the third annual ‘Tri the Burren’ sprint triathlon.

Just over 160 triathletes took to the start line for the Tri the Burren Sprint Distance Triathlon.
Rhodri Jones used his quick swimming as a launch pad to go on and win the sprint distance race in a quick time of 1:03:48. Trudy Brown was the leading lady with a comfortable winning margin.
Trevor Woods continued his run of good form to take the win at the picturesque Lough Ine Challenge in West Cork.
Reports just in that elite triathlete Bryan Keane and International runner Lizzie Lee are crowned National Aquathlon Champions.
