After an absence of a number of years, Maeve Maher McWilliams has returned to triathlon in Ireland by racing a lot and scoring a lot of great results.Maher McWilliams has been the top female scorer in three out of the four National Series races she competed in so far this year (Carlow Sprint, Firmus City of Derry, Westport, Hell of the West). As with many of the female athletes towards the top of the table, she has also taken advantage of the new Cat 2 classification by trying out draft-legal Super Series racing.Currently lying in second place in the table, Jessica Burton has also had a busy season and has never been far from the top of the table in her four scoring races to date (Carlow Sprint, City of Derry, Hell of the West and Jailbreak).Gabrielle Dillon of Wicklow Triathlon Club currently holds the third place position thanks to consistently strong racing at North Tipp Sprint, Tri 795 Carlow, Up the Creek and Hell of the West.A full breakdown of positions across all the women's age groups is available by heading to the series rankings page.Men's RankingsThe top of the men's National Series rankings is currently dominated by Dublin's Piranha Triathlon Club with Killian Nolan leading by just two points from clubmate Ivan Eustace.Nolan and Eustace have raced each other three times in the National Series this year so far with Eustace coming out slightly ahead each time.
