With six rounds completed, Lorraine Carey and Killian Heery lead the 2017 Duathlon National Series.

Heery added Omagh Duathlon to his list of victories this season when he finished in first place last Saturday, ahead of Barney McCullagh and Kevin Keane.

The women's race in Omagh was won by Siobhan Gallagher, who has now moved up to third place overall in the 2017 Duathlon National Series rankings behind Barbara Dunne and Lorraine Carey, neither of whom were in Duathlon National Series action of the weekend.

Second place in the women's race in Omagh went to Helen White, while Olivia Ní Shuilleabháin claimed third.

Just two rounds remain in this year's Duathlon National Series - the Battle of Ballinspittle in Cork on April 17th and the Belpark Duathlon in Dublin's Phoenix Park the following week.
