Last weekend brought another chilly weekend and down in Limerick, where over 100 souls braved the cold for the second race in the Limerick Duathlon Series.

While competitors braved the cold down in Limerick, Dublin racers weren't so lucky. With heavy snow the night before, the race organisers of the Wheelworx Duathlon, had to make the difficult decision to postpone the race. This race will now go ahead on Friday 2nd April. For anyone who purchased a one day licence for this race, this has been transferred to the new race date. If you are unable to race on 2nd April and would like your one day licence refunded, please send an email to Triathlon Ireland, administrator@triathlonireland.com.

Following on from the recent AGM held in Dublin on 30th January, and the recent changes in the purchase of a one day licence, Triathlon Ireland wish to announce a Trial Day for the purchase of One Day Licences.

This trial is to be held at the duathlon’s being held in Limerick and Naas this weekend (21 Feb).

This means that competitors who are not members of Triathlon Ireland, will be able to purchase their one day licence at registration from a Triathlon Ireland representative. The cost for a one day licence on the day will be €10 and this must be purchased in cash.
